Photo scavenger hunt ideas

Prompts and formats for whatever you are actually doing. Every hunt deals a different hand from these pools, so no two players get the same list.

Date night

Replace doom-scrolling with actually being there. You each get your own prompt cards and three shots to land them — and neither of you sees the other’s photos until the album opens.

Hike or trail

Phones stay away until something is worth three shots. Everyone gets a different hand of prompts, so nobody comes home with the same twelve photos of the same view.

City trip

Prompt cards get written for the place you are actually standing in. Three shots each, everyone hunting something different, and one album that opens for all of you at once.

Friends night out

Everyone gets different cards. Nobody sees anything till midnight. Then the entire night opens at once, shot by shot, from everybody’s camera.

Bachelor/bachelorette

Everyone gets their own hand of prompts and three shots to land each one. Nothing is visible until the reveal — so the whole night arrives at once, from every phone.

Family reunion

Every person gets their own prompts, so the twelve-year-old and the grandparents are hunting different things. It all lands in one album that opens for everybody at once.

Food & bar crawl

Each stop is a set of prompts and three shots to land them. Nobody compares photos along the way — the entire crawl opens as one album when you are done.
